Heather Tobin’s latest dramatic feature is a moving and thought-provoking concept film that plays with the idea of the possible existence of destiny. Aspiring film writer, the adorable Ryan Stark, is having a hard time deciding what University to go to and is fearful to leave the comforts and predictability of high school and her life thus far. The film explores three possible realities of this young lesbian's life – each vividly enacted; each offering Ryan a life filled with romance, laughter – and deep sadness. As the alternate narratives play out, the audience discovers along with Ryan how a seemingly simple decision like choosing a particular college can change an entire future. Each life path fascinatingly evokes intense emotions as Ryan is torn between her love for career, family and marriage. Tobin’s unique twist provides a fresh take on a familiar scenario.
