Getting Go: The Go Doc Project
Be careful what you wish for: A shy recent college grad (Were the World Mine’s Tanner Cohen) devises a plan to shoot a documentary about the NYC nightlife scene in order to meet the hot go-go boy he's cyber-obsessed with (Matthew Camp). But as the two become closer and the college student’s expectations are dissolved, the line between subject and filmmaker becomes blurred until flirtation leads to a steamy affair that plays out against the heat and vibrancy of a New York summer. As autumn nears, the tantalizing affair seems to offer the promise of something deeper – or does it? Krueckeberg’s debut feature artfully balances the thin line between lust and love, objectification and stereotype and is sexy as hell from the get go. Explicit.
