Foster and Adoptive Parent Orientation
Wednesday, September 18, 2013, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM | view details and directions
Attending an orientation is a great way to learn more about what it takes to become a licensed foster parent and to help you determine if foster and/or adoptive parenting is the right decision for you and your family. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about Little City’s Foster Care and Adoption Program, as well as the commitment and support our professional team provides to the families and children we serve. Little City is currently the first and only foster care program in Illinois to successfully complete the Human Rights Campaign's All Children - All Families initiative. We are searching for welcoming homes and loving parents regardless of age, race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender-identification, income or education level. Monthly orientations occur the 3rd Wednesday of each month* at our Chicago office. Additional orientation sessions may be scheduled upon request, either in our office or in your community!(*November orientation is hosted the 2nd Wednesday, with respect to the Thanksgiving Holiday.)
