Buffering

In Buffering, two debt-ridden lovers discover the easiest way to get out from between a rock and a hard place is showing their “hard place” to the world! Credit cards maxed out, mortgage unpaid, Aaron and Seb have overextended themselves. Once their sports car is repossessed, they’ve had it. To make ends meet, Aaron starts secretly filming Seb and himself in the boudoir and selling the videos online. As the money pours in, Seb eventually gets wise to Aaron’s scheme, and reluctantly agrees to participate until they are back on their feet. When their situation is upended by the suggestion of a three-way to absolve all debts, tension and jealousy ensue. Erotic and hilarious, Buffering not only explores the repercussions of a recession, but the limits of will of two broke lovers.
