When brash ad exec Paul realizes he has lost his ex-boyfriend for good, he concocts an outrageous scheme to win him back: he stages his own cancer diagnosis. What Paul doesn’t factor into the equation is his entire family moving in to take care of him in his time of need. Paul is quickly overwhelmed by his parents’ newly rocky marriage, his sister’s sassy judgment of his morally questionable plan, and his surprisingly successful reignited affair with his ex. This bubbly comedy abounds with silly hijinks, sexy eye candy, and the best family-accidentally-tripping-on-‘shrooms scene since The Brady Bunch Movie.
