Buffalo Grove Family Pride 2019

My name is Molly and I am 12 years old, gay, and proud. I stared my school's first Gay Straight Alliance and with the help of my family, have been lucky enough to speak about being a gay child at many venues to help others to understand and be more accepting. Please help me and my family raise the funds to have a Pride Parade in my hometown, Buffalo Grove, on June 2, 2019. The permitting for the parade is complete and the more money that is raised, the more beautiful the event can be! The funds from the GoFundMe will cover the cost of security, port-o-lets and set up and tear down fees.
This GoFundMe is run by Molly's mother, Carolyn Pinta. The funds from this campaign will be deposited in to our non profit's bank account where a check will then be written to the Village of Buffalo Grove to cover the cost of the set up, police presence, tear down, cameras and drones for safety and an ambulance and staff for emergencies during the parade June 2, 2019. It should be noted that when they GoFundMe was started, we were not yet a non profit and the funds were deposited in to a personal bank account in the name of Molly's mother, Carolyn. Since our incorporation in September, all funds have been transferred over. The name of our non profit is The Pinta Pride Project. The web site for this non profit is pintaprideproject.com. GoFundMe has been updated to have our bank account so that a check can be written to pay these fees for the parade. The Pinta Pride Project has held many successful events since it began in September 2018. There was a National Coming Out Day Celebration attended by 200 community members, a transgender rally and vigil and meeting on suicide prevention. The picture below shows us marching with allies in the Labor Day Parade in Buffalo Grove to raise awareness of the project. https://www.pintaprideproject.com/ Upcoming are a showing of TRANS: the movie with Youth Outlook and an LGBTQ Prom called The Royal Rainbow Ball to be held on May 19th, two weeks before the parade!
