Saturday, October 10, 2009 - Howard Brown Health Center presented Bertha's Ball, a dazzling dinner and dance at the Palmer House Hilton. Bertha’s Ball is named in honor of Chicago’s grande dame of philanthropy, Bertha Honoré Palmer and benefits Howard Brown Health Center, one of the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender health centers.
