When weekend events feature names like “Grunt,” “Climax” and “Animal Farm,” you can basically assume shit’s about to get real in Chicago.

Memorial Day weekend is home to many things, but to the city’s gay community, it’s the one holiday when IML, Bear Pride and the Grabby Awards all come together. In honor of the trifecta of gay events hitting Chicago, local entertainment venues are throwing out all the rules by hosting some of the wildest parties of the year.

We at ChicagoPride.com took the liberty of rounding up the top 10 craziest parties this weekend, so GO ALL OUT!

NEVERLAND presents Animal Farm IML Weekend

In what is undoubtedly our top pick for getting down and dirty, the minds behind the outrageously popular NEVERLAND circuit parties bring you “Animal Farm.” Prepare for a dark and dirty fantasy set at the stroke of midnight in an old barn. Neverland brings to life the Orwell classic with leather, steel and harnesses, and the costumed fetishism of horses, pigs, dogs, and other animals. DJ SERVING OVAHNESS (Los Angeles) leads the adventure, slated for Friday at Charlie's Chicago. (Image courtesy Neverland)

BEEFYBOY presents GRUNT with DJ Seth Breezy

Chicago’s infamous Manhole nightclub is back, re-opening specifically for its late night party GRUNT. Party organizers BEEFBOY are partnering with DJ Seth Breezy for one major IML event in the iconic Boystown location. The underground party runs from 10 p.m. on Friday to 2 a.m. on Saturday, with no cover until midnight.

3

Debauchery, the official Grabbys afterpary

Following the infamous Grabbys Award Show at Metro Saturday night, head over to Charlie’s in Boystown for the official after party. DJ Lulu Lightening and DJ Alex Cabot will light up the dance floor starting at 10 p.m., and the party doesn’t stop until 5 a.m. the next morning. Obviously expect to see a ton of sexy adult star go-go dancers – this is the Grabbys after all.

LEMONADE: An IML Weekend Yellow Party w/ DJ Carlos G

You read that correctly, and no, this party is not making a Beyoncé reference… Organizers Anthony Difiore and Martin Luna of NEVERLAND remain busy over Memorial Day weekend with their Lemonade party on Saturday at the all-new Fantasy Night Club in Boystown, formerly Circuit Nightclub. Come check out the new club concept while Miami after-hours kingpin DJ Carlos G. plays a high-energy set from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Also discover what exactly a “Lemonade Yellow Party” entails.

5

Furball Chicago 2016

Joe Fiore returns to Chicago for IML and Bear Pride weekend with his wickedly popular Furball party on Saturday. This year the party features DJ HIFI SEAN out of London and DJ RON GERONIMO from right here in the Windy City. Expect a night of hot, sweaty, beefy men at Metro – after it cleans up from the Grabby Awards that evening. Doors open at 11:30 p.m.

6

Strapped w/ DJ Shane Stiel at Hydrate

Now going on four years, Hydrate Nightclub is hosting its famous Strapped party in honor of IML, Bear Pride and the Grabbys. Doors open on Saturday at 11: 30 p.m. with DJ Shane Stiel blowing up the dancefloor featuring lights by Nick Mansuri. Along with hundreds of hot men and women, expect to see sexy go-go dancers all night long – until 5 a.m. the next morning, that is.

7

Victory Party-IML 2016

For 17 years in a row, event director Matthew Harvat has taken the annual IML Victory Party to new heights, and we’re told 2016 will be bigger and better than ever before. The party starts on Sunday at the House of Blues in River North at 9 p.m. Making his IML debut, DJ/Producer Tiago Vibe from Brazil is ready to bring his sexy drums, beats and original productions to this annual event. That’s along with Chicago’s very own DJ Freddie Bain mixing deep house grooves on the top floor in The Foundation Room. This is the must-attend party of the weekend, celebrating the winners of IML.

8

Climax

Consider this the ultimate Sunday-Funday – or Sunday-Bunsday, as organizers are calling it. Christian Owen is back in Boystown at Minibar to present Climax along with superstars Jimmy Durano, Kurtis Woulfe and Brendan Phillips. The party starts at 10 p.m. on Sunday with music by Chicago’s own DJ Alvin the Funkmunk.

9

DayBreak with DJ Billy Lace!

Are you a total party animal who didn’t get enough on Friday, Saturday and Sunday? First, you’re insane, and second, we have another party for you! On Monday (Memorial Day), Manhole is hosting the only morning party in Boystown from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. for those who just didn’t get enough on Sunday night. Jon O'Brien and Wady Guzman present DayBreak, the only 7 a.m. party in Boystown with DJ BILLY LACE. After you’re done here, please, for the love of god, get some sleep… until Monday night!

10

Black and Blue Ball-IML 2016

The weekend culminates with the IML Black and Blue Ball (but hopefully not any actual black-and-blue balls)! DJ and producer DJ Tom Stephan out of the U.K. is the main headliner at the official 2016 closing event, with IML mastermind Matthew Harvat playing puppeteer. Chicago's legendary DJ Milty Evans will expertly weave his musical magic throughout the night in the Red Room and the fresh up and coming DJ Alex Cabot will open up the house with his energetic style. Plus, IML will be the first major event to debut Sound-Bar’s all new lighting systems as well as their sleek remodel of the space. It all goes down on Monday at 9 p.m.
