Halloween, that celebrated gay holiday that seems to bring the dead back to life and the daring to Halsted Street, is upon us. Check out these fabulous Halloween events in Boystown that are sure to keep the creepy cruising!
The 16th annual Halloween parade includes a new route that travels south on Halsted Street from Waveland through one of Chicago's hottest nightclub districts. Registration for adults and groups will be held from 5:00pm-6:00pm at Circuit Nightclub, 3641 N. Halsted. The parade steps off at 7pm.
After the parade, don't miss the main stage show in the CTA turnaournd on Halsted and Belmont. Part homage, part Halloween, Chicago’s ultimate zombie thrill dance begins around 8pm.
Join Hydrate Nightclub as they open up early at 5:30pm, with the parade being broadcasted on all of big screens. Immediately following the parade, Hydrate hosts a very special costume contest with over $1200 in cash and prizes.
Join Roscoe’s and Frida Lay for the best Costume Contest on Halsted following the Northalsted Halloween Parade, $1500 in cash prizes.
Party on with the scary peeps at Scarlet. Featuring DJ Konsept and DJ Luna. Opening early at 5:00pm for your Halloween festivities!
After the parade, Minibar presents Mirror Mirror Extravaganza with VIP bottle service & Club DJs.
Watch the parade from Sidetrack's large screens. $500 cash prize costume contest at 10 pm.
DJs Greg Haus and Pete Augusta lead up a team of freaky performers at Berlin on Halloween night.
The DS crew is behind bars for this costume contest after the big parade and $750 in cash in prizes.
Performances by The Princess at 11 pm and midnight. Special Halloween cocktails. VJ Riley York, DJ Dominic.
