While gay men and women can now fight for their homes and same-sex couples are gaining acceptance and building homes together, LGBT youth across the nation are struggling to find a home. This issue is as old as the Gay Rights Movement itself.

A man was beaten and critically injured in a fight Monday morning near Halsted and Roscoe in Chicago's Boystown Neighborhood.

In his new book, "NIV Lessons from Life Bible: Personal Reflections with Jimmy Carter," the former president talks about his own support for gay marriage, but his unwillingness to force churches to allow same-sex nuptials.

Low voter turnout certainly played into the mixed bag of results when it came to electing out LGBT judicial candidates in Illinois during Tuesday's primary.

The Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender History (CLGBTH) announced the Out in Chicago exhibition, produced by Chicago History Museum (CHM), as a winner of Allan Bérubé Prize. The award recognizes outstanding work in public or community-based lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer history.

Nobel Peace Prize laureate and Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has announced that she has no intention of making homosexuality legal.
