The Colorado Springs Police Department released the booking photo of Anderson Lee Aldrich. Court filings show that Aldrich identifies as nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.
Aldrich was arrested last Sunday, charged with a mass shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Five persons were killed and 19 injured at the LGBTQ venue just before a Transgender Day of Remembrance event was about to begin.Those killed include
Daniel Aston, 28; Kelly Loving, 40; Ashley Paugh, 35; Derrick Rump; and Raymond Green Vance, 22.
The suspect used a semi-automatic rifle.The 22-years old suspect was subdued
mainly by U.S. Army veteran Richard Fierro, and entertainer Thomas James.
A motive remains unclear, according to NBC News
