The Albert Chicago is a contemporary restaurant attached to the Hotel EMC2 at 228 East Ontario Street.

Just like Albert Einstein, the taste makers in this establishment bring cuisine that's ready to push forward in an intelligent way.

Live music is offered at times and the patio is cozy and quiet. Explore the EMC2 boutique hotel with modern and well curated decor while you are there.

Exectuive chef Larry Feldmeier offers a complex menu that will leave diners hungry for more.

Start off with the charred octopus in a tasty white BBQ sauce. For something light and perfect for the summer, order the watermelon paired with green tomato and Thai basil.

You most likely can't go wrong with the main dishes, but try the Luna Piena with lobster and coral butter. It's something original and unique. The Lamb Presse was also very good with peas and yogurt.

To finish things off, order the chocolate ganache. The combination of cherries and goat's milk sorbet will push you over the top.

Wash it down with an after dinner cocktail such as the Lost and Found with rum, bitters and honey.

The Albert warrants a return visit to explore a menu that is original and intriguing. The staff is top notch and will be happy to guide guests who are ready to explore fresh, new takes on food that is presented perfectly on the plate.
