The Windy City heats up the brunch
Brunch has been a thing since 1896 when mnetioned in a newspaper, quickly turned into a two meal day on Sundays, then branched out into Saturdays finally. While the overall brunch idea continues to stall in some parts of the Midwest, Chicago is an exception with tons of spots to try. When the weather changes, the brunch scene heats up and patios begin to open all around town.
Brunch is mixed with cocktail culture and if your restaurant doesn't have a Bloody Mary bar then it is most likely behind the times.
