Being Gay and Catholic, What I Have Experienced and Learned: An Evening of Reflection and Discussion. Earlier this year, Old St. Pat's hosted a viewing of the documentary film For the Bible Tells Me So. Nearly one hundred Old St. Pat's members and friends gathered together on a rainy Sunday afternoon to watch and then discuss this award-winning film that addresses various aspects in the relationship between religion and homosexuality. As this particular discussion came to a close, there was a clearly expressed desire to continue the conversation at Old St. Pat's. As we continue moving forward on our journey to be a more welcoming and inclusive church, Old St. Patrick's Church invites you to join in on the conversation on Wednesday, June 24 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the church hall. What I've Experienced and Learned Being Gay and Catholic will begin with some thoughtful reflections by members of Old St. Pat's Church. The evening, hosted by our new Old St. Pat's Gay and Lesbian Friends and Family Outreach Initiative, will also include plenty of time for discussion and questions. Won't you please join us? There is no fee for attending this program. Light refreshments will be available. LOCATION: Old St. Patrick's Church The Church Hall 700 West Adams Street Chicago, IL 60661 312-648-1021
