2009 National LGBTI Health Summit

The 2009 National LGBTI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex) Health Summit and Bi Health Summit are currently in the planning stages and we would like for you to be a part. The LGBTI Summit will focus on “Health Through the Life Course” and will be held August 14 -18, 2009 at the Chicago Hilton and Towers. We are dedicated to preserving and improving the emotional, physical, spiritual, intellectual, psychological, environmental, and social, and sexual health and wellness of LGBTI people. We consist of a diverse range of communities who often experience significant health disparities because of our sexual orientations and/or gender identities. LGBTI health care addresses the needs of the whole person – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and sexual. LGBTI concerns are on the front burner for Chicago’s LGBTI communities, in alliance with other communities and allies across the nation. We are all working to become increasingly active citizens in reforming the delivery of healthcare for all. Important Dates Summit registration is available online NOW.
