Haunted by strange visions and unusual cravings, heavily pregnant Sara (Chloe Van Landschoot, FROM) is shocked when she encounters Troy, the baby’s father who abandoned her at the start of her pregnancy. Seeking closure and financial help, Sara ignores her girlfriend Carol’s warnings and accepts Troy’s dinner invitation at his family estate, where his mother (a scene-stealing Jane Moffat) welcomes her. The reunion soon descends into a bloody supernatural nightmare as Sara discovers she and her unborn child are targets of a satanic ritual. Director Houston Bone delivers a wickedly entertaining, gore-soaked queer horror comedy that deftly subverts ROSEMARY’S BABY.
