Artemis Singers June 8 Pride Concert & Dance

Artemis Singers, Chicago’s lesbian feminist chorus, kicks of Pride Month with “Never Doubt: We Are Here” Pride Concert & Dance. The concert begins at 7 p.m., followed by the dance, which runs until 11 p.m. Both are accessible. Founded in 1980, the nonprofit chorus specializes in performing music written or arranged by women. The program includes “Fast Car,” by Tracy Chapman and “Lesbian Feminist Boogie,” by Allison Downing, Artemis member. Ticket prices: $25 General Admission.
