Legendary drag performer Charles Busch (PSYCHO BEACH PARTY; DIE, MOMMIE, DIE!) returns to Reeling with this hilarious tribute to movie mania. Busch plays Jimmy, a classic Hollywood-obsessed New Yorker who’s fallen on hard times. Jimmy deals in movie memorabilia, a one-time misunderstood obsession/profession that has turned into big bucks. When a close friend and fellow collector dies, Jimmy discovers in his apartment the long-lost final sixth reel from the Lon Chaney 1927 silent classic LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT. Word quickly spreads among Jimmy’s movie collector cohorts of his newfound treasure. All bets are off as the wildly eccentric group – mostly gay men – compete to either cash in on the sale of the film or screen the movie for all the world to see. Busch, irresistible as the droll, scheming Jimmy, is joined by a stellar supporting cast that includes queer audience faves Margaret Cho and Julie Halston, as well as heartthrob Tim Daly and Broadway legend Andre DeShields.
