Riot Fest 2021

Riot Fest returns to Chicago's Douglass Park on September 17, 18, and 19, 2021. In addition, festival organizers got out ahead of their 2022 event by announcing confirming the same September weekend (9/16–9/18) for the festival’s 2022 event.

This year’s Riot Fest lineup is lead by 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Nine Inch Nails alongside fellow “heavy” heavyweights Smashing Pumpkins, Run The Jewels, Pixies, Faith No More, a recently reunited Mr. Bungle, Devo, and Coheed and Cambria. Other artists set to appear include NOFX, New Found Glory, Dirty Heads, Sublime with Rome, Lupe Fiasco (performing The Cool), Vic Mensa, Simple Plan, Dinosaur Jr., Gogol Bordello, Motion City Soundtrack, Bayside, Big Freedia, Andrew W.K., Living Colour, and more.

Tickets for both the 2021 and 2022 editions of Riot Fest are available now.

Founded in 2005, Riot Fest is an independent music festival featuring the best of punk, rock ‘n’ roll, hip hop, metal, alternative, and just about everything in between. Founder Riot Mike is credited with helping to reunite iconic bands like Naked Raygun, the Replacements, the Misfits, and Jawbreaker, among many other reunions, a longtime calling card of Riot Fest. Other beloved Riot Fest traditions include full album performances, carnival rides, and the occasional butter sculpture.

Location: Douglass Park
