This event is hosted by local gay artist Mike Burton – aka The Cheap Soap. Mike, 28 years old, only came out a few years ago. He took up painting porn thumbnails as a way of exploring the sexual freedom that gay men have in the age of hook-up apps and self-shoot porn (and to explore his own sexuality). His work will be on display and for sale at the event, and he'll be there discussing his thoughts behind some of the pieces and how it became a therapeutic exercise.
