In celebration of Chicago’s female business community and its leaders during Women’s History Month, Girls 4 Science will host the 6th Annual Women’s History Month Reception and Award Ceremony. Taking place on Thursday, March 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at The Little Black Pearl, 1060 E. 47th Street in Chicago, the event will feature guest speaker Sheila Talton, CEO of Gray Matter Analytics, and Dr. Amy Wilson, Senior Corporate Attorney at Astellas US LLC. All proceeds from the event will benefit Girls 4 Science which is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that is dedicated to exposing girls in the Chicagoland area to quality science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs. Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased in advance on the Girls 4 Science website or at the door. Funds will support Girls 4 Science initiatives including weekly STEM sessions, field trips, science camps and more hosted throughout the Chicagoland area.
