Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation’s 3rd Annual

The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation (LSCRF) is hosting the Pink Path Run, its 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk, on Saturday, October 15th at Diversey Harbor, (2601 North Cannon Drive, in Lincoln Park). All ages are welcome to lace up their athletic shoes to spend a day running, walking or volunteering at this benefit. LSCRF Board Members, Lori Leib and Robin Mitchell co-chair the annual run/walk. October is National Breast Cancer Month and the efforts help fund breast cancer research, treatment, and educational programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University. The Pink Path Run route is a 5K USATF certified course. Registered runners will be tracked with Chronotrack bib tags. Timing clocks will be located at miles 1, 2 and the finish line; walkers will not be timed. Just for kids, the Pink Path Run’s Kids Dash invites children twelve and under to run at their own pace in a fun filled race starting at 10:15 a.m. Following the race, results will be available and linked from: https://lynnsage.org/5k. Race recognition will be awarded to: Top Male, Top Female, Top Boy and Top Girl Finishers, Top Fundraiser and Top Fundraising Team. LSCRF Pink Path Run Race Day Schedule 7:30 a.m. Registration opens 8:45 a.m. Race kick-off 9:00 a.m. Run starts, immediately followed by walkers, then strollers. 10:10 a.m. Awards 10:15 a.m. Kids’ Dash (Children under twelve)
