Erotically charged and otherworldly, Mary Marie is an ethereal tale of two adult sisters, Mary and Marie (played by co-writer Alana Kearns-Green and co-writer/director Alexandra Roxo), who return to their childhood home after their mother’s death to enjoy one last summer there together. In the heat and isolation of the countryside, a growing physical and emotional intimacy blossoms, blurring the boundaries of sisterly affection. When the local handy man, Peter, shows up, his presence threatens their idyllic cocoon. Mary and Marie become dangerously competitive as the sexual tension builds ... and the summer takes an unexpected turn.
