The space is surprisingly large once inside, and invites a workout focus! Equipment is good & plenty of free weights & machines. Small caveat .... there could be a bit more lighting in parts ? Changing room fairly spacious, with large size lockers [ one time visitors bring or buy a lock . Overall grade A !"

kinneticbrian: "I've been a member since June of 2005 and can honestly say that this gym is the best, dollar for dollar, anywhere in Chicago. If you care more about ambience than you do about physical results, go elsewhere. I don't know where the other reviewer comes from when he says the locker rooms and facilities are dirty, they're both far from it. This gym is no-nonsense as is the staff. It's a nice reminder of what gyms used to be before they became politically correct."
