Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood stretches from Winnemac Street to the south, Peterson Avenue to the north, Ravenswood Avenue to the west
and Glenwood Avenue to the east. The beautiful, ethnic neighborhood is primarily known for it's Swedish heritage. Today, the neighborhood
has a large gay and lesbian population, second only to Boystown.
The main shopping street is Clark Street, which runs roughly north-south, features boutiques, fitness clubs and
specialty stores. In addition, the area features a number of gay and lesbian bars, nightclubs and restaurants.
