DESCRIPTION:Peter Yarrow of the legendary folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary, brings his words and music to the ECC Arts Center. 
 
 In this  intimate show, Yarrow shares iconic songs such as “Puff the Magic Dragon,” “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “Leaving on a Jet Plane” with personal stories of being a musician in the 1960s, living in Greenwich Village, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Bob Dylan, Pete Seger and, of course, his career as part of Peter, Paul and Mary. Yarrow will be joined in concert by his son, Christopher Yarrow, and special guest Mustard’s Retreat, the folk music duo featuring David Tamulevich and Michael Hough.
 
 Tickets to Peter Yarrow’s “Words and Music” are $32 /$28.  A three-course, pre-show dinner prepared by ECC’s award-winning Culinary Arts and Hospitality program can be purchased online for an additional $35. Dinners include wine and are served at 5:30 p.m. in the Spartan Terrace Restaurant, located in the lobby of the ECC Arts Center.  Dinners must be ordered in advance on or before Monday, April 16.

Box office hours are noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday. To purchase tickets by phone, call 847-622-0300. All major credit cards are accepted.
