Chicago is Dining Out for Life, Thursday, April 26
Eat out on April 26 to benefit HIV/AIDS services
CHICAGO, IL -- On Thursday, April 26, 2012 EdgeAlliance presents its 19th annual Dining Out for Life event with over 75 Chicago restaurants participating in the annual event which benefits children and adults living with HIV/AIDS on Chicago's West Side.

Chicago is one of 60 cities across the U.S. hosting Dining Out for Life, which aims to raise funds for local HIV/AIDS charities. With the help of more than 250,000 diners, Dining Out for Life expects to raise over $4 million to support those living with HIV/AIDS.

Dining Out for Life, which is the single largest HIV/AIDS benefit in the country, is celebrating its 21-year anniversary. The unique fundraising event was started in 1991 by a volunteer for ActionAIDS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

This year over 75 participating Chicago restaurants will contribute up to half of the meal ticket to EdgeAlliance as part of the 19th annual Dining Out for Life Chicago. Last year over $125,000 was raised locally to help EdgeAlliance continue its mission of providing housing with life services to men, women & children living with HIV/AIDS.
