Enjoying success with his wildly popular remixes and mash-ups, sexy DJ/Producer Seth Cooper makes his debut appearance during Circuit MOM's Freedom Revolution kick-off party at Minibar this Friday.

As the recipient of many awards such as "#1 Up and Coming DJ", "Best DJ/Remixer/Producer", and "Best Circuit Tour", Seth's passion is expressed by the music that is played at his events worldwide. His dance floors welcome diversity and inclusion for people who love to dance.

ChicagoPride.com talked to Seth before his arrival in the Windy City.

CP: (ChicagoPride.com) Matthew Harvat knows how to throw a party, are you glad that your Chicago debut is part of the Revolution Party?

SC: (Seth Cooper) Chicago is a city I had been trying to play in for about 7 years. I'm very thankful to Matthew & CircuitMOM Productions for the opportunity and extremely excited that my debut is part of Freedom Revolution.

CP: What can we expect from you?

SC: A very energetic and fun night. I will be testing out a lot of my new mash ups and playing some of the fan favorites. Some of those include old school or classic tracks with a modern edge like Yes - Owner of a Lonely Heart and C&C Music Factory - Gonna Make You Sweat. Whether it is a new remix of a familiar track or a brand new song, there will be energy and lots of it.

This Friday will be a special event because it is the kick-off Freedom Revolution, so take those shirts off, dance and let the DJ's of the weekend take you on a journey.

CP: Tell us briefly about yourself. Where are you from?

SC: I was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale and though I started DJ'ing in Florida, things really took off when I moved to Austin, Texas. So in a lot of ways, I've always felt like I am "from" Austin.

CP What interesting jobs did you have before becoming a music producer, remixer and DJ?

SC: I actually got my start into the music business by working at a club as a barback/busser for 2 years in Orlando while also promoting special events. With this, came opportunities to background dance for entertainers and produce their show mixes. There was so much passion for me behind the music, that I began to pursue DJ'ing more and more.

Fun fact, one of the entertainers I worked with in the past is Roxxxy Andrews, who looks to be the frontrunner for the current season of RuPaul's Drag Race.

CP: Favorite vocalist? Dream artist to work with?

SC: My favorite vocalist right now is Zoe Badwi, but I would love the opportunity to work with a Deborah Cox or Jeanie Tracy.
