Due to the economy, many high-end places are offering especially attractive deals. Here’s a rundown of what some of the hot dining destinations are offering on turkey day - it’s always best to get your reservations in early. For those who prefer to dine at home, but don’t want to chain themselves in the kitchen, many places are offering either whole turkeys or complete dinners to go.

Benny's Chop House
Benny's Chop House, 444 N. Wabash is usually a pretty pricey place, so its four-course $34.99 Thanksgiving dinner is a steal, for kids under 12 its $17.99. Call (312) 626-2444.

Kanela’s
Kanela’s, 3231 N. Clark, presents a holiday brunch with $18 bottomless mimosas, which may be just what you need before a day with the family. Call (773) 248-1622.

Rosebud on Rush

Carlucci
Carlucci, 1801 Butterfield Rd. in Downers Grove, will offer special holiday items as well as its regular menu offerings. The holiday menu is $24.95, call (630) 512-0990.

Porter’s Pub
