Abbott Hotel sells

Chicago, IL — The Abbott Hotel, an old walk-up eyesore in Boystown, located on Belmont just east of Halsted in Chicago, has been sold according to ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com.

    An affiliate of Park Ridge-based apartment investor paid $4.3 million for the Abbott Hotel building in Lakeview. It is unknown what the buyer has in store for the property.

    Recent reviews posted on the Internet suggest that the facility is run down and in need of rehabilitation. It seems to house more monthly boarders than nightly guests.
