Miami, Florida — A new poll shows Republican Mitt Romney leading President Barack Obama 47 percent to 41 percent in Florida, and the President has not seen a bump from his new stance on gay marriage.

The Miami Herald reports that Mr. Obama's lead in March was 49 to 42 percent, so he's fallen quite a bit.

Exactly half of Florida voters told pollsters they support gay marriage, while 40 percent are opposed. However, 60 percent said the issue doesn't impact how they vote. Just 22 percent said that it's a driving factor in the voting booth.
