San Diego, Calif. —
An outraged judge dismissed an entire jury panel this week after prosecutors rejected a juror who is gay.
Superior Court Judge Joan Weber said the prosecution's actions were "shocking."
The case involves six people who were arrested when they blocked the entrance to the county clerk's office as a way to demonstrate support for gay marriage.
"There has been a fundamental violation of a constitutional right to a jury trial by my client's peers," Todd Moore told the
San Diego Union Tribune.
