O'Donnell's Lakeview home sells below last fall's purchase price

Chicago, IL — Talk show host and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) advocate Rosie O'Donnell has sold the Lakeview home she purchased last September. According to a report in ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com, the 6,000-square-foot Lakeview property sold for about $150,000 less than the $2.25 million O'Donnell paid last year.

The five bedroom home located at located at 1517 W Grace, near Wrigley Field and Boystown, featuring a home theatre, sports bar, and large rooftop deck has been sold to a Chicago attorney.

O'Donnell moved to Chicago last fall when her new daytime program "The Rosie Show" began airing on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) and was taped at Harpo Studios in the West Loop. OWN cancelled the show in March 2012.
