Chicago, IL — Club Skirts, presenters of internationally known, annual all-girl dance party and music festival, dubbed "The Dinah Shore Weekend," announces the headlining performances marked for the opening and closing parties of its 2012 incarnation. The current social event and dance/pool party schedule of which most recently included the addition of an interactive celebrity interview, with the interviewee fielding questions directly submitted from members of a live, Dinah Shore Weekend-attending audience. 

The interview's intended date and expected evocation was made point of note in an recently released electronic newsletter from Clubskirts.com. Tthe bolded headline simply attributed the report, dated January 10, 2012, as "Breaking News!" The Dinah's public proclaiming Meredith Baxter Q&A-interview event plans was preceded with the anticipated official announcement releasing the headlining musical performers for the "world's largest all-girl dance party" of 2012 to the public in collaboration with open ticket sales. 
In a rare, live concert, Chaka Khan is joined by her full band to headline The Dinah music festival series with an early opening Saturday night, March 31. The ten-time Grammy winner takes the stage 9-10 p.m. at the Palm Spring's Convention Center and is expected to deliver the high-powered hits for which is has been famed over the span of three decades. 

Conversely, CeCe Penniston was named the headlining closing-night performer Sunday, April 1, at the closing night event presented by Go Magazine.
