I'm an R&D engineer / manager, which can be really stressful but also lots of fun figuring out something that has never been done before. I have a unique personality mix - gay engineer describes the duality well. Have both my intro- and extroverted modes. Love dancing and music, and just hanging out with the friends seeing the site of Chicago. Enjoy doing my own work on the condo whenever I can. I'm pretty laid back, funny most of the time (why take anything in life seriously?), with pretty diverse interests. I love getting into and learning anything new. Work downtown, but travel off & on quite a bit. So, looking for friends to fill in the free time, and if something more comes up, great.

Turn-ons: Someone with passion for something in their life... career, hobby, art, or just living life. A great smile and a sense of humor to bring it out as often as possible. Intelligence, compassion... and a cute butt. As for looks, there is no real type... the Irish, Italian, German or Jewish guys all catch my eye. Shorter or taller, dark hair or blonde, hairy or smooth. Oh, and the shaved head/ goatee thing really does it for me! An odd attraction for me is independance. I am, and look for that in someone else.

Turn-offs: Smoking / drugs. Bitter, negative people - Sure life can suck sometimes, but if there's nothing you can do about it, at least laugh a little while you're riding it out.
