Getting to know me will take time; more than a paragraph and a few pictures on a screen. I’m just getting to know me over the past several years, and it has taken much work and hearing things I didn’t want to hear to get here. However, I know most of what I want and don’t want. As of right now I only want to get to know people and date. Although I prefer relationships, I’m wanting to get serious, and finding someone that’s right for me takes time. I want someone who is secure with herself and knows who she is. I will welcome someone into my life with open arms, but will not change my life for her. I want someone who understands the significance of balance in a relationship, which includes outside friendships and alone time. I want someone who can tell me what I’m doing wrong, but tactfully, because that is the only way I can grow as a person and as a partner. I never want to be someone’s life, and my life will never be someone else. I am naturally empathic, down-to-earth, sarcastic, and sensitive, and I’m looking for someone with similar qualities. Someone who complements and balances these qualities with their own quirks tends to work well too.
