about WaymonHudson

LGBT Rights Activist, Blogger, Politico, and all around trouble-maker!

Waymon Hudson is a vocal LGBT activist, advocate, and writer. He is President and Co-Founder of Fight OUT Loud, a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping LGBT individuals and their allies fight discrimination and hate.

Waymon is also a regular contributor and on the editorial team of the Bilerico Project, the nation's leading LGBT blog forum. He and his husband, Anthony Niedwiecki, live in Chicago, Illinois, where they are the proud foster parents of a now college-aged son.

Waymon has been a voice for full equality for the LGBT community for many years, doing everything from organizing multiple large-scale protests to working within the political system to affect change. Whether he is marching in the streets, organizing online, or working on campaigns, his goals remains the same: to challenge the forces of bigotry, hate, and ignorance.
