I grew up outside Dallas, Texas so I have that lovely southern gentility... most of the time... have lived in Chicago for... a long time... I am VERY hard to get to know really well... so you have to spend some time with me to know me... but I am very giving and have a lot to offer the right person and people. I insist on faithfulness and respond strongly to irresponsible acts of disrespect. I like to be silly and have fun sometimes... really silly.

I really love to travel, have done QUITE a bit... I love Paris and Sydney and Bangkok and Moscow and... have been to dozens of int'l cities. I like to take very leisurely vacations, mostly to sunny and warm places.

I enjoy spending time with close friends and going out; however, I can have just as much fun staying at home, watching a movie with friends or cuddling on the couch as going out and dancing the night away... I like to do both. "Dance like no one is watching you...Love as though you've never been hurt before...Sing as though no one can hear you...Live as though heaven is on earth." I dance like no one is watching me...and it's pretty funny sometimes.

Turn-ons: I like people with energy - that are fun, witty and silly - but also intelligent, trustworthy and passionate. Trust is very important. I want to be with someone I can have a long and avid conversation with about serious stuff, or not so serious stuff, and who is also comfortable with silence, because there isn't ALWAYS something to talk about or that has to be said... I like the little things, little signs of appreciation / love... random cards, notes and kisses... things that make me feel tingly. I like to do those things, too.

Turn-offs: I don't like dumb people and by this I mean people that don't think or don't think for themselves. I also really don't like people who are stuck on themselves, but really have nothing to be stuck on themselves about. Finally, I get really irritated with people that do not reply to email or phone calls in a timely manner.
