ChicagoPride.com Model Search Rules:
1. Hottie Contest:
(a) The model search will begin on Saturday, July 18, 2009 and end at 11:59PM (CT) Wednesday, July 29th, 2009.
(b) Finalists will be notified by phone or email and will be required to
make a four hour appearance (times are flexible) at the ChicagoPride.com booth during Halsted Street Market Days weekend
on August 1st or 2nd. (c) Visitors to ChicagoPride.com will vote for the winner after Market Days weekend over the following
21 days. One vote per person. (d) Contest sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected or illegible entries.
Sponsor is not responsible for technical or computer failures, errors or data loss of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions, which may limit the ability to participate in the contest.
2. Eligibility Restrictions: (a) The contest is open to all persons who are legal residents of the 48 Contiguous United
States or the District of Columbia, who are at least twenty-one (21) years old at the time of entry. Internet/email
access is required to enter. (b) Participants are eligible to win a ChicagoPride.com contest only once
every three hundred sixty five days.
(c) All entries become the sole property of ChicagoPride.com and will not be returned.
(d) By entering, entrants agree to abide fully and unconditionally by these rules, and warrant and
represent that their entry is their original work, and grant to ChicagoPride.com the right to edit, publish,
promote and otherwise use their entries without further permission, notice or compensation.
3. Prizes: (a) All eligible entries will be received online Saturday, July 18, 2009 and end at 11:59PM (CT) Wednesday, July 29th, 20098.
(b) ChicagoPride.com will contact the finalists by phone or email before or on August 1st, 2009. The finalists will be the selected by ChicagoPride.com staff.
If the finalist does not respond withing 3 days,
the finalist forfeits the contest and prize. ChicagoPride.com is not responsible for the safe
arrival of a prize or prize certificate. (c) Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted
for or redeemed for cash. ChicagoPride.com reserves the right to substitute prize of comparable value. (d) If prize involves travel, winner and travel companion must agree to the airline's
Terms and Conditions of travel. Once confirmed, trip dates and travel accommodations cannot be changed by winner;
however, travel is subject to availability, holiday/blackout dates and availability, and/or change due to
circumstances beyond Sponsors' and Administrators' control.
4. Selection of Winners: (a) Decisions of
ChicagoPride.com with respect to the contest are final and binding in all matters related to this Contest. (b) Winner
will be selected by visitors of ChicagoPride.com, choosen from the pool of finalists who are on the ChicagoPride.com float.
Winner will be notified by phone and email. If email and mailing address from entry is not valid, winner forfeits prize.
5. Conditions: (a) By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their
name used. By accepting the prize, each winner grants to ChicagoPride.com the right to use the
winner's name, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity, without further permission or
additional compensation. All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner. (b) Winner,
by acceptance of their prizes, agree to release ChicagoPride.com, and respective advertising, promotion and
production agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or
losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or
while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any prize-related activity. (c) Contest sponsors reserve the
right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement. (d) No purchase necessary.
The contest is void where prohibited. (e) Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All federal, state and
local taxes and/or fees are the sole responsibility of the winner. (f) Failure to comply with the contest rules may
result in a contestant's disqualification.
6. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that (a) any and
all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prizes awarded
shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, (b) any and all claims, judgments
and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this
Contest but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards
for and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other
damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise
increased.
The Grand Prize includes 1. a photo shoot by ChicagoPride.com for winner to be one of ChicagoPride.com "Hottie of the Month" models and 2. air travel by Orbitz and is subject to these additional rules and
conditions: Two (2) round trip coach class domestic vouchers good for travel within the continental
United States on Sponsor's choice of airline (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) from a major
airport near winner's home (as determined by Sponsor). Tickets are subject to holiday/blackout dates and
availability. Twenty-one (21) day advance purchase and Saturday night stay required. Tickets/vouchers are not
exchangeable or redeemable for cash and are subject to terms and conditions of use as stated, and cannot be combined
with any other offer. Ticketed flights may include stopovers and/or connections. Travel must be completed by date on travel voucher.
If winner cannot travel by the date specified, prize will be forfeited. Other restrictions, conditions and
limitations may apply. All other expenses including security fees, taxes, meals, and transportation not specified
are the sole responsibility of winner. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or
certificates. No cash redemption or substitution.
