Life's a Drag

Start your engines! Not since Jade shook her maracas as the first Chicago contestant and Mystique yelled, "Bitch, I am from Chicago" have we been this excited to see the Windy City represented on RuPaul's Drag Race. Lucky for us three hometown gals are on the fourth season of the Logo Channel's hit television show.

To get to know the trio and in honor of past drag racer Mimi Imfurst we have five firsts from the fabulous femmes as a preview.

The Princess:
How old were you the first time you did drag?
18.

First thing RuPaul said to you?
"My favorite color is orange." I was wearing it.

First thing you would do with the prize money if you won.
I would help my family. They helped me growing up so I would pay them back for all of the times that they helped me out.

First thing you do when getting ready for drag.
Shave. That's important because it is not cute to have stubble on top of your head.

Where was the first place you performed in Chicago?
Spin.

DiDa Ritz:
How old were you the first time you did drag?
21.

First thing RuPaul said to you?
"Don't f*ck it up!"

First thing you would do with the prize money if you won.
Spend a lot of it on my parents.

First thing you do when getting ready for drag.
I listen to music to get me in the mood.

Where was the first place you performed in Chicago?
Hydrate Nightclub four years ago at an amateur contest.

Phi Phi O'hara:
How old were you the first time you did drag?
18. It was a dare and someone said I couldn't do it.

First thing RuPaul said to you?
She said how beautiful we all were. I remember Ru was surprised I was in field of optics and that it was different than girls in the past. I make glasses and sell glasses for an eye doctor.

First thing you would do with the prize money if you won.
Invest a lot of it. I don't want to be one of those girls that wastes and spends all of their money. I am a pretty frugal queen. I might go on a trip to Europe because I have never done that before.

First thing you do when getting ready for drag.
Besides shave? I put music on because I am lip-syncing in the mirror.

Where was the first place you performed in Chicago?
Miss Chicago USA at Spin Nightclub. Everyone was shocked at my Texas style because it was so different than what they have seen here.

There you have it, three queens with five very different answers. Who will win? The Race runs every Monday. For more on season four visit www.logotv.com.
