Ive been a regular at Jackhammer for two years. It was one of the first bars I visited after moving. Instantly, I met guys that have befriended and we often meet at the bar to play darts, pool, or have a drink. The staff is delightfully friendly, and I cannot complain about most of them. My favorites include: Randy, Kris, Arben, Mark, John, George, and Rob. This is the core staff and Im sure if you tango with one of them, you'll be taken care of all evening. Jackhammer is a rather late bar so don't expect things to pick up until well after 1AM on weekends. Living only walking distance from this spot, I've had some great times spent with friends, staff, and the in bar. And if you're really looking for something really memorable, Manhole--the bar in the basement-- is usually open. Beware...XOXO! love you JH guys

This place is going downhill fast. I have been there a few times over the last few months and the staff seemed to be outside smoking or talking to their friends or going to the bathroom **sniff sniff** Lots of potential but this place is getting run down and when we stopped in on a Wednesday nite to dance, the DJ was gone.

I agree with the review from J.J., Danny seems to have a great following, every time I have gone to meet friends at Jackhammer he always has a smile and is ready to get you a drink. I noticed when Danny’s shift ends so does the fun, the place usually empties out. The other bartenders seem friendly, but they are more interested in a friend at the other end of the bar. The back area is great, I am surprised the management staff did not move the dance floor in that area, the front gets a little too overwhelming and hard to enter and exit on the weekends. Regardless, we have always had a good time, just seems a lot more fun when Danny is working!

Jackhammer has its moments; they have done a great job with the improvements and opening the back end, the space. Danny has always been very friendly and has always had a smile each time we have gone, The management staff needs another Danny for the later shift, seems the evening guys usually are not as fast to serve you unless they know you. Parking across the street is a huge plus since it is free!

Good atmosphere with a neighborhood feel. Better in groups than alone. If your looking to hook up - go next door.

I've visited Jackhammer on a number of occasions and it's ALWAYS friendly! If you can't have a good time there, you can't have a goodtime anywhere.
