9/5/07 Man's Country has really been improved! New Carpets, new showers, and new benches in the locker area! Really clean, too! Will go back soon!

Great place for older, mature guys! Sunday afternoons are free for college dudes, and some really good looking guys when I visited in April 2006!

That place has always been good to me. I always have time to create more than just sex there. I end up talking, hugging, having a few good laughs, etc. which is more than I can say about most baths, anywhere. The Bros are highly respectable and everyone else is just as good as you can find them in such places. It is up to you to create your situation. Don't expect others to do it for you, don't blame them. True, bathrooms are mediocre and stairways are long. Want better? Pay more! Country? O.K!

I've been to Man's country a few times while in Chi on biz..I have always had a great time..Reading some of the reviews makes me wonder if these pople actually have been there. .Or that they fall into the catagory of people that should not go to a bath until they can spell the word GYM..then go to one..then workout in one..It just seems to me that if u go to a place where people are naked..and looking for sex..U can't be angry if ur marshmellow shape is not a turn on to others..As for the cleanliness..well sure the place could be cleaner..But are comming there as a representative for Lysol?..Or are u lookin to get down..If the later is ur intention I highly recommened this place..It's blk guy mecca on wed nites..

I liked the facilities well enough except for the fact that the stairways are SOOOO lengthy! Clientelle on a scale from one-to-ten is a SEVEN. Seemed to be a LOT of married, white-collar straights 40's to 60's from the suburbs for a Saturday night/Sunday morning! M. C. is about as clean as any other baths I've been to. I DO wish the shower next to the jacuzzi down in "The Pit" had HOT running water! About what I expected for a big city bathhouse -- no better or worse than L. A. or NYC venues would provide.

As a man of color, I enjoy going because it lacks the BS factor of Steamworks towards men of color and is more laid back-read "lacks attitude". One can usually find a few hot men, and not everyone is 50+.

I have not been there yet and i would like to see some pictures of it over the internet. I heard it was great but I want to see it on screen first. Thank you Twink that needs to be dinked.

I know a lot of guys don't like the lack of cleanliness or the older clientele, but sometimes I prefer this to "BoysCountry" (a. k.a. Steamworks). At least I don't have to spend a lot of time and energy figuring out if the guys here are a) looking for their clone, b) modeling for their clones, c) voyeurs just there to look or d) actally wanna get it on. At least at Man's Country, I usually find it a lot easier to figure out. (But what IS that stuff floating on top of the hottub? Does anybody actually go in there?)

it's a cool place to kick it for men of color who are on the dl. the only problem i didn't like about it was the idea that most of the men there like to have sex without using condoms. im not down with that at all!

Man's Country is nasty as hell... The guys are over 80 and gross... It smells... The floor are warped... The rooms are tiny. .. The "hottub" is a luke warm mini swimming pool with a lame waterfall... The dancers are good looking, but DUH only looking for money... The clientel isn't even pretty... DON'T GO!!

It is a decent bath, maybe not what you'll expect to see, but the encounters can be quite weird since half the man are 50 and over, very few young studs. But it can be a nice place (when clean), I say that man's country is a good place for old married man who don't want to get caught by their wives.

This place seems to be full of people kicked out of Steamworks. One cute guy only wanted to get it on with nasty old men, and the place was scummy.

I like to support local businesess, but Man's Country just isn't clean enough for my tastes. They don't seem to do many upgrades to facilities. The floors, rooms, locker room and hottub/steam facilities don't get cleaned often enough and the stains and mildew odors (not to mention other smells) are just the most obvious sign. Man's Country should take a hint from Steamworks and spend some of their money on improvements and cleanliness.

Was at Man's Country Saturday night! First was happy with the midnight dancers! Some nice college-type frat guys were there to have some serious sex, too! The hot tub downstairs is a good plce to get to know some hot bodies! The upstairs jerk-off room was hot, too!
