It would be okay if the bastards had working sinks and toilets. But the owner/operator feels that non-working facilities are part of the charm and encourages scat play smeared all over the bathroom.

The Bijou is not the place to go unless you like it down and dirty. I make it there a few times a year when I'm in a raunchy mood. It can range from a bunch of old trolls to that cute guy down the block who's finally taking the step to admit he's really into men. I've met more than my share of married guys out for a quick "switch hit."

It is old fashion 1960's - 1970's. During the daytime it is hit or miss. Definitely a place to visit more than once in awhile.

The place is worse than "Man's Country" after reading the reviews, I thought that it could not be as bad as it seemed, but when I put one foot in there. ... NASTY... plus they play the same two movies over and over all day, and upstairs was nasty...HOUSEKEEPING is all that I have to say about upstairs, my shoe almost got stuck on the floor because the floors were so sticky!!!

Had a lot of fun sucking and fucking!! when they had the dark room on the 2nd flr. which is a TV room now. Would be Better if they made it back to the DARK ROOM like before

If you want to get your groove on secertly then join in after hours and yes it's not sparkling clean, but you are. The films are some of the best.

This place is cool, except it is dirty, and the toilets dont work. but if you like raunch, this is the place.

Dirty, nasty and sticky... All the things you look for in an adult theatre! The "clients" can be a bit sketchy, but really that's half the fun, right? It's totally hit or miss, but if you're an exhibitionist like me, you can always still have fun showing off for strangers.

This place ties Man's Country as the worst place in Chicago. The movies are old and the projection system is fuzzy at best. Upstairs is filthy. The toilets are often clogged. The sinks don't work properly. Which is not good because once you get a look at the dregs of gay life that populate this place, all you want to do is wash your hands anyway. Or leave.

It was more fun than a barrell of monkeys.
