Getting much better with the switch to dance music on weekends. Great spot to go dancing in Andersonville without fighting the crowds of straight people on Halsted. Friday nights have been pretty good there lately.

Getting much better with the switch to dance music on weekends. Great spot to go dancing in Andersonville without fighting the crowds of straight people on Halsted. Friday nights have been pretty good there lately.

I really want to like this bar because it is closest to home, but the layout is horribly awkward with the (too tiny for country dancing) dancefloor in the middle of the space blocking access to one of the bars and one of the restrooms. Moreover, who charges nearly $6 for a Heineken outside of the Loop? During a recession. Shame, because it is very clean, very well decorated compared to Charlie's. But with Sofo, Crew and the Pug in the hood, there's little reason to spend the extra $$$ at Cattle Call and then risk an eye to get to the restroom.
