Minibar is much more than a regular lounge. Featuring dinner and brunch food, the bar transforms into a classy restaurant perfect for friends and dates. When I first moved to Chicago I went to Mini-Bar and really liked the place due to the better wine list. This place would really rock if most of the staff did not have an ego attitude that they are the best in the business because 'they' think they are beautiful-I felt like I was bothering them just to order a drink.

There are beautiful guys with genuine, great attitudes that will work in Mini Bar once the place is cleaned up and the judemental, beauty boys are GONE! You have a great place, just get some professionals in there!!

I've been a few times and each time walk away feeling disappointed. Why so much attitude? Not sure I'll go back.

We were there on Friday night and had a blast!! The staff are awesome and the drinks were made to perfection. It was totally worth going and I will be back as many times as I can on the weekends.

We usually go on Friday nights. The entire staff, from the doorman to the waiter, the bartenders, and the owners, truly make you feel comfortable and welcome. The infused drinks are some of the best I have ever had and the crowd is always full of people having a great time.

The shirtless bartenders on New Years was a nice touch. I walked into the bar for a drink on my way home. I thought the drinks were a bit overpriced (though my martini was perfectly made) and the crowd was very interesting. I don't think this is a gay hotspot on the Chicago scene. Some of the patrons were friendly and quick to start a conversation.

Some, however, kept to themselves and put off an aura of bad attitude. The music was good and the video screens are awesome! I don't think this bar will be on Halstead street for long, so drop in for a quick drink before the place is gone. Don't plan on spending your night at this bar, in fact, I wouldn't even stay for more than one drink.
