Alison Bechdel "Fevered Archives" opening reception
Award-winning lesbian cartoonist, in Chicago to teach a spring course with Hillary Chute at the University of Chicago, is featured in a 30-year tribute to her work. Bechdel is the creator of the classic comic strip Dykes to Watch Out For and the author of the graphic memoirs Fun Home and Are You My Mother, coming out in May. Free and open to the public.

Readings from humor/lifestyle columnist Homer Marrs, who has written for Film.com, American Theatre, Time Out Chicago, Las Vegas Magazine, QVegas and Nightspots. As an actor he has toured with the Second City Touring Company and appeared on AMC, the Travel Channel, and in Pope John Paul II High School's famed 1994 production of "The King and I," in which he played Anna's young son.
