Chicago boasts a colorful past filled with eerie events that range from the truly chilling to the light-of-heart. In celebration of Halloween, the Chicago History Museum will host cemetery tours, dinners, seminars and other events that will showcase Chicago's very real and often shocking past. All 20 plus Haunted Chicago events can be found online.

On Monday, October 29, 6:30 p.m., the Museum will host, Abracadabra! A Night of Magic. During this night of mysterious magic visitors will marvel at fully staged performances by Suzanne the Magician and David Kovac the Modern-Day Vaudevillian. Suzanne the Magician is the first woman magician ever to be nominated and to win the Magic Castle’s and The Academy of Magical Arts’ Close up Magician of the Year for 2010.

On Wednesday, October 31, 6:30 p.m., spend Halloween at the museum for, City of Ghosts: A Historic Séance. Spend Halloween uncovering the dark secrets of Chicago’s ghoulish past with supernatural entertainer William Pack. This interactive program of spine-tingling stories, eerie histories, and inexplicable supernatural occurrences.
