Center on Halsted and After School Matters collaborate to a ten-week spokenword apprenticeship for Chicago Public high school youth (ages 14-19), who receive a stipend while learning elements of spokenword focused on LGBTQA identity, gender expression, race, ethnicity and class. At the end , youth perform cumulative work on stage. Apply at lkarlic@centeronhalsted.org.
