Touching, thoughtful and sweet work, based on the 1997 best-selling book, features BTE Ensemble actor Michael Sassone and guest artist Carl Lindberg as the eccentric Brandeis University sociology professor ailing from Lou Gehrig’s disease, and his former student, Albom whose relationship grows stronger through their weekly visits as Schwartz mentors Albom with valuable life lessons from the perspective of a man in the twilight of his life. Preview tonight and press opening Friday, May 4 at 8 pm. Performances are Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 pm. $25 to $33. $2 discounts are available for non-COD students and seniors age 60 and over.
