Urban Village Church: Andersonville service

Sunday, February 5, 2012
10:30 AM - 11:45 AM
Organization: Urban Village Church

Where? 1602 W. Ainslie (at Ashland)

Andersonville is a neighborhood full of passion, art, diversity, and eclectic energy, all which makes Urban Village Church thrilled to be joining the community!

Worship is about coming together as community to make space for God to move in us. It’s a place to receive God’s grace and love and to give of ourselves, as well.

Worship services at Urban Village Church are eclectic and experiential, practical and intelligent, relevant and, hopefully, inspiring. Music ranges from traditional and contemporary songs to jazz, U2 and Dylan. You will be welcomed generously, wherever you are on your journey. You will be challenged to live out your faith Monday-Saturday: in your relationships, your work, in the world that needs you to make it a better place.

Interested in learning more about Urban Village Church? Come to UVC 101, happening the first Sunday of every month after service.

Here’s what you need to know:

Services are held every Sunday morning at 10:30am at 1602 W. Ainslie St. Just a short walk from the Argyle Red Line stop; the Damen Brown Line stop; the # 92 Foster Bus and the #22 Clark Bus. Look for the Methodist Hospital of Chicago/Bethany Community complex.

Children? Nursery care (0-3 years) is provided for the whole service. Children of any age are welcome to participate in (or nap throughout, as the case may be) the entire service. Children aged 4-10 are invited to participate in the beginning of worship and will then be dismissed for Sunday School.

Questions upon arrival? Stop by their ”Get Connected” table or ask a greeter.

Coffee and snacks provided before and after the service.

Dress casually. Bring anybody you’d like with you. And, above all things, be yourself!
